Mapping of the Movable is an open source, alternative guidebook that locates, documents, and gives a voice to the self-organized spaces, subcultures, and commons within the city of Aalborg, Denmark. The digital publication is the result of a long-term, site-specific engagement in the city that took place from 2019 - 2021. Through dialogue-based interactions, meetings, gatherings, walks, and public performances, it highlights and further explores the communities that utilize the cultural commons of the city. Mapping of the Movable is initiated by artist Maj Horn together with many different organizations, institutions, and artists in Aalborg, and is curated by the artist-run platform f.eks.
